Bajaj has taken the wraps off its first flex-fuel bike for India, the Pulsar NS160

As ethanol-blended fuel is corrosive in nature, the engine internals are reworked

This bike is powered by the same 160.3cc engine as the regular bike

But the performance output is 16.9PS and 14.6Nm, which is 0.3PS lower

Bajaj claims that this flex-fuel NS160 can run on a blend of ethanol and petrol varying from 0-85 percent

Apart from the slightly lower power output, the flex-fuel & regular bikes are similar in all aspects

This flex-fuel Pulsar NS160 shows that the Chetak is not the only green way for Bajaj

The NS160 is sold as the Dominar 160 in Brazil, where flex-fuel is in abundance

There’s a strong possibility that this flex-fueled NS160 will make it to production
