Suzuki Gixxer 155 launch on Sept 9th

More details on the much anticipated Suzuki Gixxer unveil. After our recent update of the complete specification and price of the new and sporty 155cc motorcycle, we have got a confirmation that the Suzuki Motorcycle India is planning to launch the Gixxer 155 on September 9. The Suzuki Gixxer which was showcased earlier this year at the 2014 Auto Expo comes equipped with a 155cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor capable of 14.8PS at 8,000rpm and peak torque of 14Nm at 6,000rpm. Power is transferred to the rear-wheel by a five-speed.

But it’s the distinct and sporty design which makes the new Suzuki Gixxer 155 standout, with chiselled fuel tank, chunky headlight, beefy chrome tipped two-holed exhaust and chunky 140 section rear tyre.

The new Suzuki Gixxer 155 will be priced at Rs 78,909 (on-road Delhi), and will be pitted against premium 150cc bikes such as the Yamaha FZ v2.0, Hero Xtreme and Honda CB Trigger.
