Volkswagen offers new features in the Vento Diesel highline
New features include steering mounted audio controls, park distance control, RCD 310 Music System with USB and 4 speakers

Somber, yet stylish the Volkswagen Vento has in its short two year stint in India gained a fan following as solid as its build quality. Since joining India’s then blooming compact sedan arena, the Vento very quickly made a mark, and its sales since being introduced to the Indian masses have pretty much held the Volkswagen India fort together, well along with the amicable support of the Polo hatch of course!
But, that being said, it’s the cosmetic characteristics of this car, unlike its competition crushing performance attributes that have kept many of its potential customers at bay, at least till now.
In a move to silence countless cries about its staid and unexciting interior gadgetry, Volkswagen has just introduced a number of driver comfort and convenience upgrades to its Vento Diesel highline (top) variant.

These include steering mounted audio controls, park distance control sensors, an impressive RCD 310 Music System with the addition of USB connectivity & 4 speakers, all of which will now come as standard features in this top of the line oil burning German sedan.
With added comfort also comes steeper pricing, and Volkswagen seems to have considered every penny spent on decking up its highline model, now raising its overall offer price to Rs. 9,77,500/- (ex showroom Delhi ).
High-grade materials and a distinct look and style will continue to attract buyers to the Vento, but now with features on the high end models closely matching up to what the competition already has to offer, the Volkswagen Vento Highline Diesel just got a tick on a lot of sedan buyers’ wish lists.

Volkswagen Vento Diesel highline 1.6l Advantages: Very trendy, good pickup even though diesel, USB in dashboard looks tidier, good mileage (city 16 kmpl/highway:18 kmpl) Reverse parking is fun and more relaxed, good AC. Disadvantages: Armrest hinders use of hand brakes and buckling up/releasing seat belts for driver. (in a way - more safer as driver is well prepared before he even touches the steering wheel)
