The specifications posted on Triumph Motorcycles India website have now been replaced with ARAI figures from the earlier UK specs.
According to Triumph India, motorcycle specs in the official website were taken from UK specs, but these have now been updated with India-specific specs. Triumph India says motorcycles sold in India are the same models sold in Brazil and Japan.
Triumph has been selling motorcycles in India since January 2014. So far, there have been over 1000 bookings of Triumph motorcycles in India and the company has recently opened two new dealerships, making it 10 dealerships across the country.
Motorcycles sold in India have been the same models sold in Brazil and Japan and their specs have never been identical to the ones available in UK and other European markets.
