The ‘Ride for Freedom’ was organized across 12 cities in India where Triumph India has dealerships, including Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata and Indore.

Delhi saw the highest turnout with as many as 85 riders participating in the 300-km ride on August 15. Most riders turned up on the Triumph classic range – the Bonneville and the Bonneville T100. There were also cruisers including the Thunderbird Storm, Thunderbird LT and the Rocket III.  The roadsters and the supersports were in attendance too, with the Speed Triple, Street Triple and the Daytona 675 supersport bikes.

The ‘Ride for Freedom’ in Delhi included almost 300km in all, riding out from South Delhi to Haryana and on to Rajasthan before turning back short of Alwar. In partnership with Smile Foundation, the ride was organized as a fund raising and awareness campaign to support the cause of girl child education.

Smile Foundation has been doing exemplary work towards healthcare, education and livelihood of children along with undertaking women empowerment programs. As  part of the 'Ride for Freedom' campaign each participating Triumph Rider also took a pledge of donating a sum ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 4,200 that would provide for education expenses of a girl child through Smile Foundation.
