Triumph Thruxton 400 Could Be Launched This Year

With an eye on expanding the dealership network in the south, Triumph Motorcycles India Private Limited has opened their dealership facility in Chennai called Harbour City Triumph. This is the eighth dealership for Triumph Motorcycles in the country after opening showrooms in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the dealership, Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd, said, “The opening of this dealership strengthens our commitment to better establish the brand in the local market. Chennai is an important city and as a hub for biking enthusiasts in India and we are expecting great response from the enthusiasts based here.”
The new dealership has an ultra modern showroom integrated with an after-sales service facility featuring service bays and a spare parts inventory. The Chennai showroom design is based on the global signature Triumph Motorcycles layout with consultation lounge, sales and after sales desks all places strategically close to the display area.
The new dealership also features the “Build Your Own Bike” simulator which allows potential customers to customize a virtual model of the bike according to their interests and personal tastes. In addition to providing all 11 models launched in India by the company, the Chennai facility will also feature Triumph merchandise including riding gear, accessories and memorabilia.
The staff at the new dealership has been provided with intense training in management of sales, service, spare parts and business systems and customer service to ensure customers receive a best-in-class pre and post sales ownership experience. The Chennai team has been trained by the British motorcycle company’s experts from Hinckley at the Manesar plant in north India. The Chennai dealership will feature all eleven models launched in India.
