After unveiling the Let’s scooter publicly at the 2014 Auto Expo, Suzuki is ready to launch its new scooter in our market soon and the Let’s will be priced at Rs 47,000 (ex-showroom Mumbai). Bookings for the Let’s has started at all Suzuki dealerships and one can book the new scooter for Rs 1,000. The Let’s is an all-new scooter offering from the stables of Suzuki and is powered by a 112.8cc engine that develops 8.7PS of max power at 7500rpm and a peak torque rating of 9Nm at 5500rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear-wheel via a CVT. Suzuki claims that the Let’s boasts a class leading fuel efficiency of 63kmpl which it has managed by employing a new fuel efficiency tech called SEP or Suzuki Eco Performance.

The Let's also uses up-to-date cycle parts like telescopic forks upfront, and this should transpire into a good ridequality. Since Suzuki is looking at pricing the scooter aggressively, there's no disc brake option on the Let's. But, it does get 90/90x10 tubeless tyres. The Let’s according to Suzuki has been developed to focus on female riders (read as college students and ladies). Because of this fact, the scooter weighs just 98kg, which will be a boon for the fairer sex while riding it in city or parking the scooter. Also Read: Suzuki Let’s preview
Suzuki has also started dispatching the Let’s to dealerships so that prospective customers can have a look at the scooter before booking it. Delivery of the first lot of Let’s scooter will commence from first week of May and it will be available in five different colour options. The Suzuki Let’s will take on the Honda Activa-i, Yamaha Ray and the soon to be launched TVS Scooty Zest.
