To give budding racers a platform to showcase their riding skills, Shell has announced registration and pre-qualification dates of the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup which would be held across different venues in Asia including India

Every motorcycle enthusiast dreams of racing on the track someday or the other but the major hurdle faced by them is that they lack knowledge on how to enter the world of motorsports. Especially given the lack of interest and infrastructure in our country for motorsports the task becomes more tedious. But there is an opportunity for budding racers now as lubricant joint Shell has announced a motorcycle racing series for youngsters titled Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup. The Cup would act as a feeder series to the world of motorcycle racing and give the riders an opportunity to learn the basics of racing before entering the world stage.

This competition gives participants between ages of 14 to 20 to compete among aspiring riders from all over Asia. Registration for this competition would be open till September 22 and the pre-selection event would be held at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia on October 13. In total 22 riders would be selected for the racing series and they would compete on Honda NSF250R Moto3 race machines. Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup would be held in different venues across Asia like India, Japan, Malaysia, Qatar, Indonesia and China.
