Nissan recently released a video showing us a glimpse of a new crossover concept that will debut at Frankfurt

Nissan Gripz Concept

Subsequent to endless rumours about the future of the 370Z, Nissan has released a teaser video of a new Z concept - Gripz Concept. If the video is anything to go by, it draws inspiration from the old Datsun 240Z that took top honours in the 1971 East African Safari Rally.

Not much has been revealed about this new concept expect for the teaser video and the word of ‘a new sporty direction for a Crossover concept’. Whether it is christened Z or not, one thing’s certain, it will sport the new dynamic design philosophy that we’ve seen from Nissan recently. It features a typical V-shaped grille, much like the new Nissan models. The floating roofline and the boomerang shaped headlights make it look even more interesting.

Nissan began the campaign earlier this week before finally announcing that they will unveil a new crossover at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. There have been several speculations about the crossover, right from it being the next-generation Juke to a sporty performance crossover that will essentially replace the 370Z.
