New Triumph Speed Triple R spotted

The 2016 version of the Triumph Speed Triple R has been spotted at a dealership, months ahead of its official launch.

There are a few visual changes in the new Speed Triple R, including new radiator side panels, seat, tank and belly pan. The exhaust also looks like it’s been updated.

The updated Speed Triple R will get high spec Ohlins suspension while the base version will get Showa units. The engine is expected to get an upgrade too, tuned to deliver power output around 140PS.

The bike will also get new technology, like electronic ride-by-wire throttle, riding modes and traction control, like the 2016 Bonneville range which come equipped with similar electronics package.
