With KTM boss buying out the Husqvarna brand and the Orange brand already here, the next step has been the talk of the town for a lot of motorcycle enthusiasts. Recently at the Milan Show in November, Husqvarna showcased the 401 Vitpilen and the 401 Svartpilen. And if you look closely at the pictures of both these motorcycles, it isnt difficult to spot that it is based on the same chassis as the Duke series.

Reinhold Zens, one of the MD's of the Husqvarna brand put some light on the same when he told a Swedish publication that the bikes will come as 2017 models. This essentially means that these motorcycles can be expected to be showcased in the second half of 2016. And if that happens, it won't quite come as a surprise especially considering that KTM boss Stefan Pierer recently took over the Husqvarna brand and made his intentions of resurrecting it pretty clear. And keeping in mind that Bajaj owns majority stake in KTM, some involvement from the Chakanbased bike maker can also be expected.
