With sales of over 35,000 units last month alone, Hyundai isn’t just relying on its ‘fluidically’ designed new products like the Eon, the Verna and the soon to be launched Sonata to solidify its supremacy in the Indian passenger car market, but also recently put together a 5 Star Assurance package to better serve its customer’s after sales requirements.
However, taking into consideration the nation’s massive outcry resulting from the government’s recent petrol price hike proclamation, the Korean car maker has now very benevolently structured a Petrol Price Lock Assurance program to give its customers at least some respite from the steep Rs 7.50/litre increase in petrol prices pan India.
As per this arrangement, all Hyundai customers will be offered discounts on all of its petrol models that include the Eon, Santro, i10, i20, Accent and Verna. The program covers this fuel hike for the next seven months and is being offered in addition to the 5-star Assurance Scheme announced for the Santro and i10 earlier this month.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr Arvind Saxena, Director-Marketing and Sales, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, "The Petrol Lock Scheme will insulate the customer from the impact of the price hike. The price hike is severe and we need to soften the blow for our customers."
Discounted prices being offered as a part of the new Petrol Price Lock Assurance program will be valid on all Hyundai petrol model purchases made till May 31.
