Honda CBR 250R

Japanese two-wheeler maker Honda Motorcycles has voluntarily recalled 11,500 units of their CBR 250R standard variant. Motorcycles produced between March 2011 and September 2012 will be repaired at all authorised company dealerships free of cost irrespective of warranty. According to a company statement, there is a possibility of limited effectiveness in the front brake though functionality and effectiveness are unaffected under normal conditions. The company is conducting repairs free of cost and dealers are also informing customers whose motorcycles need attention along with prior appointments to avoid prolonged waiting time. The complete inspection and repairs, if required, will be conducted within one hour.

This voluntary move is the first by any two-wheeler company in the country. The company claims this step is to enhance ownership experience and strengthen customers’ trust in the brand.

is there any issue in CBR 150R?

I know Honda values quality. While such a move indicates lack of quality, at least Honda is honest enough to recall the defective vehicles. In today's days of increased competition, companies are in a hurry to introduce new models. I strongly believe this is one of the major contributor to recalls. Honda engines are one of the best. In Honda two wheelers, unlike others there is very little stray noise. Also it gives a decent mileage. That is one of the reasons why i like Honda vehicles.
