Honda launches striking new Tri-colour CBR 250R
Priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (Standard) and Rs 1.70 lakh (C-ABS), the sporty Tri-colour Pearl Heron Blue model will be available at dealerships starting early March 2012

In under a year since being launched in India, the Honda CBR250R has caught the fancy of countless amateur sports category motorcyclists and owing to its mass appeal it has already gained voluminous demand and respectability only to become India’s Most Awarded Motorcycle in 2011.
While performance, rider delight and comfort has been the USP of the quarter liter meister till now at least, its frugal two-tone colour scheme has in a sense limited the bike’s overall aesthetic appeal to customers.
Now nearing its first anniversary on Indian roads, Honda has just turned the 250R’s dual-tone body into a resplendent and sporty looking tri-colour palette. Inspired by Honda’s globally successful VFR1200F and CBR 1000RR Fireblade superbikes, the eye catching Pearl Heron Blue colour combo on the new CBR250R will now be sold alongside its two existing dual-tone colour options, Candy Ruby Red and Asteroid Black Metallic.
Stand out features like the extremely responsive DOHC engine, a Combined Anti-lock Braking System for safety, electronically controlled fuel injection technology and an aerodynamic layered style fairing and cowl design will all remain unchanged on the new sportily stickered motorcycle.
Commenting on the introduction of this dynamic new colour scheme for the Honda CBR250R, Mr. N.K. Rattan, Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd, said “We revolutionized the performance category of motorcycles in India with the launch of the CBR 250R in March’11. Now, continuing this legacy in 2012, we have enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the Honda CBR 250R and introduced the new Pearl Heron Blue tri-colour to cater to expectations of young Indians.”
Just like the model introduced with the original colour scheme last year, the new tri-coloured CBR 250R will also be available in two variants. The standard spec tri-colour model is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh as compared to Rs 1.44 lakh for the standard dual-tone model, while the C-ABS fitted top end tri-colour version will sell for Rs 1.70 lakh as compared to Rs 1.69 lakh for its bi-tone counterpart. The new CBR 250R (Read : Road Test) in its Pearl Heron Blue avatar will be available at all Honda Exclusive Authorized Dealerships starting early March, 2012.
