Harley riders will cruise through prominent spots in the Maximum City to celebrate the country's 63rd Republic Day. Be there to hear the roar!

Powered by people who 'live to ride and ride to live,' Mumbaikars will witness the Harley Owners Group (HOG) cruise through some iconic city spots on the occasion of Republic Day. This, they say, will be their style of saluting the nation, which is celebrating 63 years of becoming a Republic. The group will start off from Seven Islands Harley-Davidson, Bandra at 8:45am so start early if you don't wish to miss the spectacle. 

For the uninitiated, HOG is the world's largest and most successful factory-sponsored owners club with a membership of 1.3 million Harley owners in over 120 countries. While adoring their machines, this group of Harley enthusiasts, ride around the world on their mean-machines.



For those who yearn to own a Harley, the company recently rolled out their sub Rs. 10 lakh Street Bob model at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The bike is the most affordable 1,600cc cruiser in the country and is priced at Rs. 9.95 lakhs, ex-showroom.

Harley's current model  line-up includes Road King, Nightster, XR 1200 X, Fat Boy, Heritage Softail Classic, Night Rod Special, Street Bob, Super Bike Custom, Superlow,  Iron 883, 883 Roadster, Forty-Eight and a few more which range between Rs. 5.5 lakh and Rs. 35 lakh. For 2012, the company plans to come up with the Sportster, Dyna, Softail, V-Rod, Touring and CVO.
