Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson delivered six customised Harley-Davidson motorcycles to the Gujarat Police Department. The Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson is the sole dealership for the iconic American bikemaker in Gujarat and is based in Ahmedabad. It is the first occasion that any police department in India has acquired Harley-Davidson motorcycles as part of their fleet for specialised use. While Harley haven’t divulged on the custom modifications done on the bike it seems that only cosmetic updates have been carried out on the Street 750. The Gujarat Police Harley-Davidson sports an all white paint scheme with an aftermarket windshield, panniers, leg guard, beacon, and backrest for better pillion comfort. The motorcycles will be used primarily for quick response actions by the police department, including the escort of senior ministers and visiting dignitaries and emergency response as part of a natural disaster response team, among others.
