We have got exclusive details regarding the pricing of the upcoming two new Ducati offerings heading our way by mid-2016 – XDiavel and the Multistrada Enduro 1200

Exclusive! Ducati Multistrada Enduro 1200 and XDiavel pricing revealed

After bringing you the news that the bookings of the Ducati performance bike duo – XDiavel and Multistrada Enduro 1200, have commenced, we have exclusively learnt the pricing of these new bikes that will be launched in India around mid-2016.

While the Ducati XDiavel will be priced at around Rs 16.3 lakh, the Ducati Multistrada Enduro 1200 is set to push you back by around Rs 18.3 lakh. The XDiavel twin that will accompany the aforementioned duo to Indian shores via the CBU route. The Ducati XDiavel S, our source said, will cost you Rs 19.2 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Mumbai).

XDiavel prices revealed

As we had informed you last month, the bikes will be built in Ducati’s Thailand plant, which is the bikemaker’s first such overseas facility. As a result, the bikes will come to India by the month of July while deliveries will commence by August, depending on when you book your bike. Ducati dealerships in the country have started accepting bookings of the XDiavel and Multistrada Enduro 1200 with a token amount of Rs 1 lakh.

After-sales service on these bikes would include a warranty of 2 years unlimited miles. Free servicing will also be offered within the first 12 months of the purchase, subjective to the distance traversed.

Exclusive details about Ducati in India

Talking about the bikes, the Multistrada 1200 Enduro comes with Ducati’s tried-and-tested 1,198cc Testastretta V-twin pot that makes 160PS and 136Nm; making it a more powerful machine than its predecessor. On the other hand, both the XDiavel and XDiavel S will get 1,262cc mills, with variable valve timing, churning out 158PS of power and 128.9Nm of torque in the XDiavel.

While Ducati has re-entered the Indian market as recently as 2015, it sure looks to up the ante against other players in this segment with a spree of new developments. Just like its competitors, we will also be keeping a keen eye on Ducati in the days to come.
