Automotive remodelling company DC Design, on 1st August, launched their new store at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport (CSIA). This exclusive store will become the only DC Design store in the city which will display customized cars infused with design and innovations from India’s renowned car designer Dilip Chhabria.
The Avanti is the first sports car that is completely made in India and it will be showcased at the Terminal 2 store. It is a proud moment for our country to exhibit this accomplishment as travellers who will be going via Mumbai can stop and have a good sight of the car. This exclusive store inside the airport will not only offer a visual treat but also serve as a promotion of the brand and information support locus for travellers to learn more about the brand.
Speaking of what is under the hood, the Avanti is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-charged, four-cylinder petrol engine which is capable of producing 251.4PS of power and 340Nm of torque. The drive train is rear wheel drive (RWD) with a 6-speed manual transmission. There are a lot of other features that the car offers, such as optional parking sensors, keyless start-stop option, parking assistance, multi-function display, a GPS navigation and much more.
The outside of the car gets an aerodynamic pattern, LED headlights with daytime running lights (DRL), inset mesh grille in the front, body coloured bumpers and LED taillamps. Safety is a bit of an issue in the Avanti as it does not have airbags, but it does offer ABS with brake assist.
