BMW’s head of motorcycles, Stephan Schaller has been quoted by MCN as saying that the development of the small capacity bikes are on schedule and will be unveiled at a year’s time.
The new series of bikes are likely to be powered by 300cc engines, and three versions are expected at the launch, with a roadster, a sports styled bike and an adventure model.
“The small capacity bikes are still on target for us in terms of the timetable which means this time next year the bikes will be presented,” BMW’s head of motorcycles Stephan Schaller is quoted by MCN.
“The design and engineering are done by BMW in Munich and then TVS is doing much of the workto get these bikes ready for production,” Schaller added.
The bikes are expected to be unveiled first at the INTERMOT motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany in October 2015.
