British supercar manufacturer Aston Martin has released a teaser video which showcases a 5.2-litre V-12 twin-turbocharged engine depicting the future path of the brand. The introduction of a turbo-charged engine will mark the end of the naturally-aspirated engines that Aston Martin has been manufacturing till now. The manufacturer will be shifting to forced-induction engines to help abide by the stringent emission norms.

The new supercar which will roll out from the Aston Martin factory will be christened ‘DB11’.The new turbo-charged engine is expected to power the upcoming DB11. Till date, no details of the engine have been released, but we predict the engine would produce around 600PS of power, surpassing the 576PS produced by the current Aston Martin Vanquish. The new Aston Martin DB11 is expected to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show which will be held in March.

Speculation says that new engine is based on the 6.0-litre engine which powers the Vanquish.
