Alvaro Bautista to race for Aprilia

Italian two-wheeler giant Aprilia which will be making a comeback to MotoGP in the 2015 season announced that they have signed Alvaro Bautista. The Spanish rider currently is associated with Go&Fun Gresini Honda. Bautista has signed a two year contract with the Italian outfit. Aprilia will return to premiere class racing through a four year partnership with Gresini and the outfit will be christened Aprilia Gresini Racing.

The other rider currently riding for Gresini Honda Scott Redding also recently announced that he will be moving to Marc VDS Racing for the 2015 season. This means the second rider slot for Aprilia Gresini Racing is still open and it is expected that an announcement on this behalf will be made soon. Speaking about the association with Aprilia, Alvaro Bautista said, "I am very happy to have signed an agreement with Aprilia for the next two MotoGP™ World Championship seasons.
