The next generation Triumph Tiger Explorer with cosmetic changes and upgraded cycle parts has been caught testing in Spain

2016 Triumph Tiger Explorer

It seems that Spain is not only a popular tourist destination in Europe but also the preferred abode for Triumph Motorcycles to test bikes as another upcoming offering from the British bikemaker has been caught testing in Barcelona. Spy shots of the new Triumph Tiger Explorer have been leaked on the internet. From the image it is clear that the 2016 Triumph Tiger Explorer has undergone cosmetic modifications that include a new pokier front beak, restyled fuel tank extensions and a new adjustable windscreen.

The changes on the 2016 Triumph Tiger Explorer haven’t been restricted to the cosmetic front as it sports new front forks and Brembo sourced Monobloc brake calipers instead of Nissin disc brakes as seen on the existing model. The 2016 Triumph Tiger Explorer was caught testing alongside its arch rival, the BMW R1200GS with optional electric suspension setup. This could mean that the new Triumph Tiger Explorer might feature electronic suspension similar to the found found on the Triumph Trophy. The 2016 Triumph Tiger Explorer is expected to debut at the 2015 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan later this year.
