BMW Motorrad has confirmed that it will launch the 2015 edition of the S1000RR at the 2015 INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany scheduled from October 1st to 5th. This news doesn’t come as a surprise as the German bikemaker is known to unveil most of its important products at the German bike show. From the spy shots it is evident that the 2015 BMW S1000RR will be updated with subtle styling updates alongwith a bump in power output. It is also speculated that the new bike will be equipped with semi-active suspension and the Bosch developed cornering ABS system as standard which is seen on the flagship BMW HP4.

BMW Motorrad also announced that it plans to launch five new offerings in this year out of which three offerings will debut at the 2015 INTERMOT show. The other two remaining offerings will be unveiled at the 2015 EICMA show scheduled to be held in Milan later this year. The other bikes in question is expected to be the S1000XR adventure-tourer pitched against the Ducati Multistrada, new water-cooled version of the R1200R and the 2015 BMW R1200GS. It is also speculated that among the bunch of bikes will be the world debut of the bike developed jointly BMW Motorrad and Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS. Whether the rumour turns into reality can be only gauged when the bikes are unveiled in the first week of October.
