2015 Bajaj Avenger Details leaked

After a long wait, Bajaj will finally bring in a refreshed version of its popular cruiser model - the Avenger. Unlike the older Avenger which was only available with a 220cc engine, Bajaj will also bring the 2015 model with a smaller 150cc unit. The Bajaj Avenger will now be sold in three trims - Street 150, Street 220 and Cruise 220. 

The Street 150 will sport a 150cc single cylinder air-cooled unit that makes 14.54PS@9,000rpm and produces 12.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. This unit is a marginally detuned version of the older Pulsar 150 range. The new Avenger 150 tips the scale at 148kg. Both the Avenger 220s will get the same engine - a 220cc oil-cooled unit that makes 19.04PS and 17.5Nm. The Avenger Street 220 weighs 150kg while the Avenger Cruise 220 with the spoke wheels is slightly heavier at 155kg. All the three models come with a 90/90 section rubber up front and 130/90 section tyres at the back. 

With regards to looks, the new Avenger looks identical to the outgoing version except for the badging. Badges on the fuel tank and side panels distinguish the new model from the older one. The Street models come with alloy wheels while the top-end Cruise 220 gets spoke wheels.
