Chevy's attractively priced Sail sedan has registered an impressive 7,000 bookings since its launch on February 1, 2013
Starting from a price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex showroom Delhi) for the petrol variant all the way up to Rs 7.51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the top end diesel variant, the Sail sedan is Chevrolet's first entry level sedan to be introduced this year. Like its smaller hatchback version, the Sail UVA, the Sail sedan is quite spacious and the added boot (370 litres) now makes it a even more practical and affordable family car. Powering the new Sail sedan is a 1.2-litre petrol unit developing 86 PS and a 1.3 litre Multijet engine, which develops 78 PS with a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.1 kmpl.
