    Hi frnds....i have a new plsr 220 dts-i...and i have also karizma -r....my brother have apache rtr 180 and 220 dts-fi......in the highways plsr 220 dts-i and fi are same in between the speed limit 60-70...but exceeding this the si carburatted model acclerates more than the fi....the fi model stops at 135.....and hanges in 134-136..kmph...but si reaches the speed 147-148 kmph with good balance....in my exprnce..and rtr 180 and karizma are just waste of money and technology...they all hanges on 125-128...if one rides 220 dts-si he will never go for any other bike...mind it..[:)][:)] | Reply

Eg: I hv bajaj calliber 1998 model, still its performance is good, and the maintaince cost is below the magin line. Hi sandip ...p220 ko dustbin mein phenko yaar ...its nothing but a cheap engineering....with definetely high speed but at the cost of quality, safety, stability and performance. Everybody know that bajaj have the cheapest parts, cheapest quality....dont waste ur money and buy a new Yamaha R15 and perform for years....with greater reliability, safety and performance. | Reply

    this bike is loaded with problems. it has a one way clutch problem, the air filter gets choked easily and the list carries on.... better go for 180 rather than the 220 | Reply

    The name bajaj brand itself is the worst bikes they offer and these fools buy that bike like bakaraas. I was really astonished by the ride and engine quality it offered in the beginning,but as soon as the bike crosses 5k mark even hero honda passion gives u better ride.It is not the hero honda that delivers out dated technologies but it is the bajaj.except the cc of the bike nothing changes n they fools the first customers n also the bikes r not upgradeable.Bajaj bikes after 2years of use they will be mostly in the work shop rather than in ur home. Believe me Karizma is the best bike in india ZMR is a perfect up gradation of technology.the people who criticize ZMR dont u find the 1.rear disc brake 2.oil cooled engine 3.i-GRS suspension 4. Digital console 5.Led tail lamp 6. fully covered engine cowl. U may not like the styling but it is " LORD OF THE ROAD".I had pulsar180 n 220 but they were no match to my cuisines Karizma . believe me iam a poor victim of low quality idiotic bikes pulsar180 n 220 | Reply

Sales figures are just a metric on which you can judge the prformance and success of BAJAJ in the bike segment. Other than that the millions of satisfied and ovewhelmed customers are there to support the notion. The features which you have illustrated were first launched in the PULSAR itself, the Oil Cooled Engine on the 200 and Rear discs on the 220 plus the Fuel Injection and the DTSi(Digital Twin Spark Ignition). You might have suffered some problems with your BAJAJ Bike but you can call it one of those exceptions. Believe me I own DISCOVER 125 which is now almost 4 years old. It has clocked around 45000 ks but still teh Battery is intact(that too with self start) mileage figures are always around 55-60. I have covered almost all of UP and half of KArnataka on my bike itself but never even for second I felt my bike is going to stall. Even made trips in excess of 500 ks in a single run(Lucknow-Delhi). Now thats what I call a performance. So I think now you know why PULSAR brought the sales figures of HH Karizma drastically down. Its always visible even on roads. You see a hell lot of discovers and Pulsars but Karizma is rarely seen. That means the verdict is all clear. The PULSARS Rule the market and People's hearts. | Reply

    Pulsar 220 F is the best bike in its class. It has a good average inspite of that giant 21.04 bhp engine. It is better than Karizma ZMR, Yamaha etc. Just have a test drive and you will go crazy to unleash the beast in it. Go for it . | Reply

    hello rajesh??? the rtr has a top speed of 124kmph. given plain on their site. and the power they claim is 17.3 ps but wen u convert the power in kw to ps it is 16.89 ps. two values for the same parameter in the same line on the company site?speaks of the quality. and the torque (15.85)too is much lower thn karizma(18.35). get a life man. grt bike no doubt but get the facts right. | Reply

    hi everyone !! gud news that bajaj is coming out with a new updated bajaj pulsar 220 dtsfi with modified graphics, black alloys n all......... but what they dont understand is the sitting position of the rider. look at the handle bars, their height. should be a lesser height than the tank which makes to a sporty look what the bajaj wants. front portion dosent impress in compared to karizma although without clip on handle bars, the sitting position looks great. enough of bajaj . i tell u all about the tvs apache rtr 180 fi. its the best bike ever in india with killer looks, new larger wheelbase, wider tyres and specially test ride the bike. u will get the best out of it. 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds which no bike in india is capable of. top speed of 140 plus. 0 to 100 fastest compared to any other. and u all know how best is the handling of the bike at the corners. a much larger wheelbase is needed but now the bike really looks heavy. bet on apache rtr 180 fi rather than any other one. THINK ABOUT IT and do test ride it asap. !! | Reply

    gud news that bajaj is coming out with a new modified bajaj pulsar dtsfi 220 with no changes. although performance is gud. but look at the frond of the bike. they hav not taken any lesson i guess. the front portion specially headlight should be at a lesser height at the tank level, the handle bars are gud but too high. when a person sits on it , the sitting position of the rider is not sporty. compare that with karizma, the headlight portion is superb although no clip on handle bars which is a mattern of concern.about the performance, check the new apache rtr 180 fi with threatening top speed, pickup, rider position, handling, killer look , the recommend is the best bike available in india. only the wheelbase is less, but in this 180 model tvs has done somethin on it increasing it to 1340 cm. bet on tvs apache rtr 180 fi. 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds, uncomparable with any other indian bikes. THINK ON IT !! | Reply

    pulsar sucks,even the FI engine sucks with its maintainance and its not worth to talk abt other pulsar babies.........fuck off pulsar , the new pulsar 220 is not gonna reach that top speed of 144 km/hr and R15 still manages to be the best and the fastest bike in india with a top speed of 145km/hr(with its maintanance free ,liquid cooled engine and six speed transmission)my email is-luckyshrm28@gmail.com whosoever fucker ,a blind pulsar lover has opposition its an open challenge to thempulsar sucksssssssssssssssssss | Reply

    Does any one know about good news from Hero Honda for year 2009? I am a big fan of Bajaj but i must admit here that there is no competition of bajaj with Hero Honda, bit disappointed with hero honda no new bike and very upset with the facelift they have done in there bike. Hero Honda people please so something before your brand name disappear in Bajaj and Yamaha wind!!!!!!!!!!! | Reply

    Hi Sudhir, the bad news is that the Pulsar 200 has been discontinued or shlved for the moment thanks to the Pulsar 220 DTSi's pricing and performance package. Best to go in for this bike than to wait however long it may be before we see another Pulsar 200 iteration. | Reply
