Yamaha updates the MT-07 and MT-125 with swanky new features for 2023

Both these bikes are now equipped with a five-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity via Yamaha's MyRide app

The TFT unit on the MT-07 gets two display themes - Street and Touring, while the unit on the MT-125 only gets the Street theme

After pairing their smartphone, the TFT display provides incoming call, email and message notifications

Yamaha's MyRide app provides alert for technical issues, while also recording a range of data like distance covered, acceleration, top speed and lean angle

In addition to this new TFT display, the MT-07 now comes pre-wired to facilitate the fitment of a quickshifter

While the MT-125 is now available a traction control system, which we feel is an overkill on a 125cc bike

Both the bikes will be available in three colourways - Cyan Storm, Icon Blue and Tech Black

Now that the MT-125 has received a TFT display, the India-spec MT-15 could also be updated with one in the future
