What Ratan Tata Thinks Of The Tata Sierra

Martin Uhlarik, VP Head of Global Design at Tata, told us Mr Tata’s response to the new Sierra.

He said that Mr Tata was very positive about the new Sierra concept.

“Don’t lose the wrap-around glass, don’t make the B-pillar too small,” he had said.

As a result, the new Sierra has thick B-pillars and graphically looks like it has alpine windows.

OG Sierra was launched in 1991, the same year when Ratan Tata took over as Chairman.

The new Sierra keeps its spirit alive while having the practicality of a modern SUV.
