Triumph has FINALLY launched the Speed 400 in India | Scrambler 400 X has also been unveiled

Here’s all that’s different between the Indian and the International-spec bikes

Weight- Speed (176kg) & Scrambler (185kg) are both 6kg more than the international-spec bikes

This is mainly due to the saree guard, front number plate and a grab handle - all mandatory for the Indian market

Tyres- India-spec Speed 400 gets Apollo Alpha H1 tyres instead of the Metzeler Sportec M9RR | Apollos are quite capable as well though

Scrambler 400 X gets MRF Zapper Kurve block-pattern tyres instead of the Metzeler Karoo Street units

Apart from these aspects, Triumph has also given the bikes India-specific suspension tuning as well as wheels

All said and done, none of these changes make the bikes feel cheap

A couple of changes for the India-specific bike, but none that could affect your buying decision
