Toyota Vitz Is A Celerio-based Affordable Hatch For South Africa

Toyota Vitz is essentially a rebadged Maruti Celerio hatchback.

To be Toyota’s entry-level car in South Africa, slotting below the Starlet (Glanza).

It’s powered by the same 67PS 1-litre petrol engine as the India-spec Celerio.

Expected to get the same interior layout and features as the Celerio.

The Vitz isn’t expected to come to India – the Glanza is the entry-level Toyota car here.

The Maruti Celerio is priced between Rs 5.35 lakh and Rs 7.13 lakh (ex-showroom).
