Tiago EV looks largely identical to the ICE Tiago, save for its closed-up front grille and air dam with tri-arrow pattern and new aero-style alloy wheels
Its interior is familiar, but blue air vents and driver’s display surrounds, leatherette seats and a white-black colour scheme set the EV apart
The Tiago EV offers more equipment than the ICE Tiago such as cruise control, connected car tech, auto headlights and wipers and even an electric tailgate
At 75PS and 114Nm, the EV is slightly less powerful than the ICE variant’s 86PS/113Nm 1.2-litre petrol engine
The ICE Tiago has the better range, but the EV allows you to drive emissions-free up to 315km (MIDC claimed range)
At Rs 8.49 lakh, the EV is Rs 3 lakh more expensive than the base Tiago, but only Rs 76,000 more than the top-spec CNG variant
