The Tiago EV looks similar to its ICE sibling, but gets a closed front grille and air dam and blue accents on the alloy wheels
Its interior is familiar, too, with a 7-inch infotainment screen, Harman audio system and digital driver’s display
The EV is better equipped than the ICE hatch, with leatherette seats, cruise control, climate control, auto headlights and wipers and an electric tailgate
It’s available in three broad trim levels, XE, XT and XZ+, in white, grey, Tropical Mist, Teal Blue and Midnight Plum paint shades
The standard EV has a 19kWh battery with 250km range and 61PS e-motor; the long-range variant gets a 24kWh capacity with 315km range and 75PS (MIDC claimed range)
Tiago EV is priced from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 9.09 lakh for the standard-range variant and Rs 10 lakh to Rs 11.8 lakh for the long-range (all prices ex-showroom India)
