Tata has commenced testing the Punch CNG ahead of its debut

It will get the carmaker’s innovative twin-cylinder tech, freeing up boot space

Should be powered by a 73.5PS, 1.2-litre petrol engine, teamed with a 5-speed manual

Could get new features such as a sunroof, wireless phone charger and an air purifier

It’s expected to be offered in multiple variants including a top-end one

The Punch CNG, expected to launch soon, could command a Rs 1-lakh premium over the petrol car
