Simple Energy’s first manufacturing plant, named Simple Vision 1.0, has commenced operations

This means the Simple One electric scooter will finally hit showrooms soon and the brand will start deliveries too, after close to a two-year wait

Located in Shoolagiri (Tamil Nadu), the plant will house the motor and battery lines, cell storage and vehicle testing facility

Moreover, it also has the capability to manufacture up to a claimed million scooters yearly

Simple Energy says the plant will employ 700+ people locally, with emphasis on a women-centric workforce

The Simple One Scooter is one step closer to mass production now
