New Mahindra XUV400 EV has copper-coloured exterior trim elements and a contrast copper dual-tone roof

It shares its underpinnings with the ICE XUV300 with a reinforced frame optimised for the EV powertrain

Similar interior design as XUV300 with all-black cabin and revised centre console and shift lever

Powered by a 150PS and 310Nm e-motor, capable of 0-100kmph in a claimed 8.3 seconds

Its 39.4kWh battery pack provides a claimed range of 456km, capable of fast charging to 80 per cent in 50 minutes

Will be launched in January 2023 with ex-showroom prices starting at around Rs 17 lakh
