BMW iX1 is set to be launched tomorrow (September 28)
Will be the fourth electric offering from BMW after the i4, iX and i7
Gets subtle blue inserts and a refreshed grille to set it apart from the X1
Features an upmarket dashboard featuring dual displays
Features include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and a Harman Kardon sound system
Is offered globally with a 64.8 kWh battery pack in two powertrain options: eDrive20 and xDrive30
Depending on the powertrain, the iX1 can go up to 475km (WLTP-claimed electric range)
Prices are likely to start around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the Volvo XC40 Recharge
The iX1 will be the most affordable electric SUV in the carmaker’s lineup
