Mahindra has revealed the Thar.e electric SUV concept in South Africa

This is the first time Mahindra has showcased a five-door version of the nameplate

Gets a beefy design with plenty of rugged and modern design elements

Sits on large alloys with chunky off-road tyres that fill up those gigantic wheel arches

Spare wheel is continued to be mounted on the tailgate, like a typical off-roader

Based on the SUV marque’s Inglo-P1 platform with all-wheel drive capabilities

The Mahindra Thar.e has been greenlit for production
