Design has mostly remained the same — Cage around the front replaced by sleeker bars with integrated panels, leading to lower kerb weight of 187kg

Exposed wiring now neatly tucked away behind a new panel under the console — Along with new sump guard & colours, subtle changes = now looks more premium

Same 334cc engine as the Jawa 350 — Gear ratios tuned differently: 1st, 2nd & 3rd are shorter & the rest are longer

Great low-end refinement & torque output — 100kmph in 6th gear at 5,000rpm on the highway = easily handled — Light clutch = bike easy to ride

Ride quality plush on all kinds of road conditions — Stable on the highway — Good braking performance & ABS intervention in the 3 ABS modes which are well calibrated

As an ADV, 815mm seat height quite accessible for all riders — 220mm ground clearance adequate for all types of terrain

Ergonomics upright & comfortable — Slightly wider handlebar & more rear-set footpegs would’ve been better, not a deal breaker though

Gets an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity & turn-by-turn navigation — Viewing angle of the console very optimum

The updated ADV from Yezdi Motorcycles promises to be refined and a more capable off-roader. We have put the bike through its paces to find out if the claims are true
