Honda has unveiled the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Carbon Edition

It is inspired by Honda Racing Corporation’s (HRC) MotoGP race bike

The bike’s production is limited to 300 units only

It features full carbon fibre bodywork for reduced weight and better performance

Carbon fibre components include: front and rear fenders, under cowling, middle cowls, winglets and the airbox cover

The carbon fibre on the bike gives it a stealthy and aggressive look

Powered by a 1000cc water-cooled, inline-4 cylinder engine, producing 217.54PS at 14,000rpm & 113Nm at 12,000rpm

Paired with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a quickshifter

Equipped with top-tier racing components, electronics & Akrapovič Titanium exhaust

Braking duties are handled by a 330mm disc with radial-mount Brembo Stylema at the front & 220mm disc with Brembo at the rear

Ohlins NPX S-EC3.0 telescopic fork & Ohlins TTX36 S-EC3.0 monoshock with preload, compression and rebound damping

It rides on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP 17-inch front and rear tyres

It has all-LED lights, a fully-coloured TFT instrument console & a charging socket

In the UK, the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Carbon Edition is priced at £26,749 (around Rs 29.49 lakh)
