Chevrolet Camaro, Mustang’s Key Rival, To Be Axed

Camaro won’t see a seventh generation, final Collector’s Edition units coming in Jan 2024.

Will be discontinued after over five decades of existence.

Camaro was conceived by GM as a competitor to the Ford Mustang in 1966.

Sixth-gen model is offered with a V8 engine making up to 650PS in the ZL1.

The “Camaro” name could be revived for an EV (not necessarily a muscle car) in the future.
