BMW India teases iX1 electric SUV ahead of expected October launch

Gets the same design as the X1, but with plenty of EV-specific blue highlights

Inside, it gets the twin screens running BMW’s i-Drive 8 user interface

Features include dual-zone climate control, a Harman sound system, and a sunroof

Internationally, it gets single- and dual-motor powertrains, teamed with a 64.8kWh battery pack

Delivers a WLTP-claimed range of up to 475km (depending on the powertrain)

The iX1 electric SUV will be the fourth electric BMW after the i4, iX and i7
