While both look the same, the P150 Single Disc (SD) offers a more commuter-ish stance than the TD variant

One-piece seat, a flat handlebar & forward-set footpegs take away the sportiness

This gives a more upright & relaxed riding stance; suits those who like comfort over flamboyance

Power output is same, yet the SD is quicker than the TD, being 1kg lighter & having skinnier tyres

Feels lighter to steer through traffic & decently planted at high speeds

Thinner tyres also helped us get 3kmpl better fuel efficiency in the city (51.54kmpl) than the TD variant

Drawbacks of the thinner tyres were felt during hard braking as it felt unsettled and fishtailed

Our braking tests revealed the TD variant to stop faster & better than the SD variant

The P150 single disc costs Rs 1,16,755 & twin disc costs Rs 1,19,757 (ex-Delhi)

Overall. the P150 is a sporty commuter; SD feels more commuter-ish, TD feels more sporty

Does the entry-level P150 carry forward the Pulsar legacy? We find the answer through a proper road test
