Hero & Ather join hands for an inter-operable fast charging network
Both Ather and Vida owners will be able to charge their scooters at these points
The combined network will cover 100 cities, with over 1,900 fast charging points
Customers will be able to navigate to these charging points using the ‘My Vida’ or Ather apps
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) recently approved the Light Electric Combined Charging System (LECCS), India’s 1st locally developed AC/DC combined charging connector standard
Besides, Ather has said any manufacturer adopting the LECCS standard will have access to the Ather Grid across India
This development comes nearly 2 years after Hero invested an additional Rs 420 crore in Ather
