BMW has updated its flagship streetfighter, the R 1250 R for 2023

The roadster now gets a full LED headlight & self-cancelling indicators as standard

Gets 3 riding modes now: Eco (new), Rain and Road

Eco mode = Softer throttle response, limited torque = better fuel economy

Electronic rider aids such as lean sensitive Traction Control, ABS & dynamic brake control are now standard on the bike

You can access the information on the lean angles & lean sensitive electronic interventions with the new ‘Sport’ display on the TFT

Now gets touring-friendly accessories like heated grips, seats, spoke wheels, adaptive turning lights, etc

The R 1250 R’s famed 1,254cc twin-cylinder boxer engine is unchanged, making 136PS & 143Nm

The updated R 1250 R will be making its way to India as well, maybe sometime next year
