Ride comfort

4.6

First of all, The handling and the ride comfort is top notch.Since it is a cruiser, There's no question of back and neck pain. The suspension is very good for both city rides and village terrain. The vehicle boasts 350cc, Which is enough power for the highways and the city.Pickup is really good as it has 27nm of torque.0-60km is a cakewalk for thunderbird.Mileage is around 35km which is pretty decent. The vehicle has a huge petrol tank( 20l ) which is very helpful for long drives.Brakes are good as it is dual disc.It has loads of features such as hazard lights, Led headlights, Projector lamps, Trip settings etc.The disadvantages are it is too heavy to drive and a min of 5.9ft height is required to ride comfortably, Maintenance from the owner in terms of cleaning regularly are required and service costs are pretty high too.Overall, It is a masterpiece crafted by royal enfield, Which is suited for long drives and daily commutes.

Long rides

3.0

I use the vehicle for long rides, I have been getting an average mileage of 35 kmpl, But again compared to the accelaration, Top speed even though it doesn't exceed 120 kmph.Driving experience: i have been riding the bike since 4 years now, Completing 40k kms and always feel that abs addition would have been a plus when i had purchased it.Pro's: seating position, Is good, Even if the quality of the seat is average.I don't tend to get the back pain which most of the riders complain as mine is a cruiser :)cons : no abs, Spoked rims, Tubed tyres, Air cooled engine, Big radial tyresoverall performance: average in comparision with the crusier class bikes.Apart from the weight of the bike if the torque is increased bike would be more amazing. The handle bar of thunderbird even though its kinda old, Service the purpose of cruiser class bikes, Giving a feel of actually riding a bullet.

Long rides

2.2

bike is nice for a nostalgic value, performance wise its not up there, too heavy and breaking isn't great even with the disk breaks. acceleration and mileage both take a hit due to its weight. The bike is not comfortable at all for long trips with its sitting and leg positions. Its definitely not a cruiser. It gives bad back pains during long rides. Most frustrating with it is the engine noise. even after being so expensive , the engine noise makes it less appealing. And also less refined.

Meter casing

3.8

This bike is great on comfort, even the mileage is great for a 350cc engine. But it needs pretty minute maintenance especially for the chains, the front suspension, the meter casing, the switches and the clutch lever. Performance is also good but the engine feels happy to cruise a 60-70 kmph and not good for sudden overtakes. Being very heavy also means you have to be careful while handling it but it has pretty good road grip.

Problems in Thunderbird 350 Mileage

Easily forget

3.8

According to 350, cc-power feels less, and it is tough to commute in the city in more than third gear. Mileage in the city comes to around 30kmpl, and on the highway around 35kmpl. Weight is at least 30 kg more, and tubeless tires are not there, so if the tyre gets punctured, you cannot drag it to 100miter, also easily forget to drag for kilometres. Performance and features are not as its price.
