Good Performance

I have been using his bike since Feb 2018, It's too much to describe how a Royal Enfield looks and about its presence on the road as it is every biker's dream thing. Even though, I would dare to do it. The overall look is like a tiger if you view it from any angle very sturdy strong appearance, Before I started to drive this beast, Thoughts of me are like how can I tame this? But after I kicked the engine to start its thump and vibrations are so awesome. I always ride this at a nominal speed and observed if we go beyond 55 to 60 mph it gives you a sublimation point at which you can feel the floating ride on the road. Even bumps are also not felt due to suspension on forks and under the driver seat. About mileage, the body says it has high quench for petrol but it depends on the rider's behavior and the roads. As per my riding habits with regular servecing proper air pressure in the tires I got about 35 to 42 per liter of petrol, Which may cost you about 3 to 4 rupees per km, and a 200 kg beast naturally may have such a thirst to pull the riders of average weight 55 to 110 kgs along with its weight and some of the accessories. Regarding accessories, I would recommend Royal Enfield steel Gard for avoiding any damage to your tank and engine and also for yourself in case of accidents. It has a best ride abilities for long trips. One must be fit if you want to go for longer rides over 300 km as I'm not soo a fitness guy I rode this for about 340 km at a stretch with some fatigue. So it must be planned. Many don't hesitate about the accessories they add to this bike but I love to keep this as it is except for a guard at engine. No modifications. The only negative aspect for me is the mirrors these are too weak even if the bike falls off the first and last thing you lose is your mirror. So I suggest going for a good handlebar mirror instead of regular ones if you are dropping your bike. Enfield is now coming out from old classic models to modern models. Once you ride an Enfield you will never get the feeling even if you ride a BMW both are of different forms.

Shoulder pain

3.0

I'm 6ft1in tall. I previously own a Royal Enfield Classic 350. And let me share my experience.I'm one of the several people who fell for the looks of the motorcycle, who fell for its connect with the person who rides (possibly due to the vibrations), who fell for its low end torque, who fell for its sound.Initially it will attract you a lot and it will make you feel like a King of the Road. As you are on love with the bike, you will love its pros and love even more for its cons! Now coming to the performance it is a lazy elephant which took almost 16seconds to reach 100Kph, with a ton of vibrations. But you will love it during short rides and can't cope with after 30minutes. Because after riding over 100Kph over 30minutes, your hands will be numb and your whole body vibrates. And to come over this feeling, you need a healthy 30minutes of break. So riding under 80Kph helps but not much by a significant margin. So, let's talk about the comfort, with the stock handlebar, I've had a lot of lower back pain. With RD350 handlebar, Classic's perch is better for atleast 30 minutes if ridden sanely under 80KPH. After that, I've sharp pain in my knees due to constant vibrations from footpegs no matter the RPM you choose to ride. If ridden above 80Kph, two more pains will shoot: one from my shoulders and other from my b**t due to the vibrations it has on offer.Talking about mileage, it will provide me 33Kpl if ridden over 100Kph, 38Kpl if ridden at 80Kph, 44Kpl if ridden under 60Kph.Throttle response is lazier due to carburettor, now it is much better due to the addition of FI. Brakes are poor, front disc is less bitey and rear drun brakes are wooden (now even comes with rear disc, but still feels wooden). Ride quality is good. Tube tyres are a problem. (Tubeless is on offer today)And coming to the maintenance part, it digs a hole in your pocket during paid service. Free service costs a maximum of INR.1500. But paid service cost minimum is INR.2500. And at 24000kms, a paid service costed me around INR.10,000. People at Royal Enfield Service Centre never repairs but just replaces. It may be due to the Sub-par quality of the spare parts. So, on even years (after first year with free services) you need to allocate around INR.6000 for servicing it. And on odd years, you must pay INR.8000-10,000 for servicing. In 3years of ownership, I've spent around INR.25,000 for services alone.I've used it for 3years and ridden it for 30thousand Kilometers and finally have sold it due to heavy vibrations which causes me consistent right shoulder pain and also high maintenance it demands over years. Finally the resale value is good. Conclusion: It is pointless to buy 350cc machines from Royal Enfield today. Better opt for their 411cc or 650cc machines. If you want to buy a 350 from Enfield, wait for their J platform launch. Thank god, they bid adeu for their 500cc UCE engines. Don't commit the mistake I've once committed.Still in August 2020, this Classic 350 is their best seller. Royal Enfield doesn't want to let their milching cow, that's why they are gonna introduce the new J platform engines in their lower selling model, Thunderbird. People must change!!! For those who are in a hurry to buy a Classic or Bullet 350, Wait till J platform's lauch.

Proper mileage

I am huge fan of the re classic 350 ash white, I own this since 2017 and its performing great. There was a time when we use to think that owning a bullet is expensive but its a myth i suppose now as i am using this machine for almost 5 year s and its good going, Its about when you take care of the vehicle properly it gives you back the performance.I have almost done with 30000 km with proper service and havent spent a bomb on the same as its giving me a proper mileage of 38 to 40 max but that ok for the heavy machine of 350 cc.Haven't spent much on the parts yet as they are all intact and no problems with the same.Almost i have used the vehicle in different location and was able to get the parts easily available if any thing required.Engine performance is also pretty good haven't changed the silencer not any company fitted things as they are all up to the mark perfect for the vehicle. So as happy with the royal enfiled classic 350.

Driving experience

Driving experience :- it's always an awesome feeling to ride a royal enfield bike.Road presence in comparison of other bikes is always impressive.Almost 90% metal used in this bike so, No doubt about the build quality.Mileage :- for city ride it's about 32-35 kmpl and for long or highway ride:- it's about 35-38 kmpl pickup:- as it has 350 cc engine which gives a decent torque to pick up.So i can say that the pick up of this bike is amazing.Service cost:- that's one of the negative points of this bike as it requires an expensive service.Engine performance :- this is the major consideration for me at the time of selection for bikes. The 350 cc engine is giant.Off-roading becomes very easy when you have bike with this engine.Build quality :- as i mentioned above there is not doubt about the build quality of this bike as it is made up of almost 90% of metal.I have 350 classic stormrider bs6.
