Economic and good design

The Renault Kwid is a great choice for city rides and first-time car buyers on a budget, same as me. It's stylish, easy to maneuver, and gets good mileage. But it's a small car with limitations for long rides or off-roading. The Kwid is a very affordable car, making it a great value for the features offered. The suspension handles city roads well, soaking up bumps. The engine is small and might struggle with highway speeds.

Renault kwid features quite ample specifications for the city drive and will not let you down. The mcpherson strut and twist beam suspension on the front and rear wheels respectively form a greatly configured setting for bumpy cities and high roads. However, The car lacks grunt when you get on the highway or expressway. Also, The engine starts making noise and you will feel the annoying vibration if you force the car beyond a certain speed.

Highway minimum

3.7

Don't expect higher end performance from an amt.Interiors are average, But still satisfied.Mileage not so high as offered. But in highway minimum getting 18km/l.City it's 15+.Depends totally on driving style.Suspension is better.Handling is also excellent.

Overall 4.3/5 The car is

4.3

Overall 4.3/5 The car is compact and suitable for a family for 4 for city rides comfortably. You can zip In and out of traffic happily. Compared to eon and alto or the new maruti espresso this is much more stylish and has mini SUV like stance. Steering is sporty, has adequate comfort. Mileage is excellent at 22-25kmpl. AC is also good. Lighting can be upgraded for highway driving. Not much body roll. The 2019 + models get much more engine refinement and cabin noise insulation and the car is pretty much silent. Overtaking suddenly with load may be a little disappointing In the 800Cc model as it is little undepowered which is expected since the displacement is lower at 800Cc.Cons : stiffer suspension, body rattle if not properly maintained. Not suitable for high-speed due to light weight and average breaking.
