150cc bike

Best 150cc bike in the category.Clocked more than 82500km with spiti(with pillion), Leh, Khardungla, And zanskar and multiple 1000kms in one go (lucknow to dal lake non-stop) under my belt.Stock clutch and battery still going strong no major issues face. Not so comfortable for pillion.

Amazing Bike

I bought the Yamaha MT-15 bs-iv model back in September 2019 and so far, I have ridden more than 42000 km and still have no problems with the engine. I am living in a hilly area in Mizoram. I used to travel for long trips whether off-road or on regular roads. There is no engine overheating problems as it's fitted with a liquid-cooled engine. The bike is powerful and smooth with a great pickup, useable, and reliable as well. What amazed me is that it's still giving me good mileage of around 43.2 kmpl (arai mileage is 48.8kmpl on bs-iv) on average which is not bad in hilly areas with low maintenance costs. The riding position is as I expected as the handlebar is upright with no stress during long rides and touring. Although it's a naked bike, it can handle corners quite well. I am using it daily till today with no complaints and I am really happy to use it for everyday riding. Its look is stunning with a great road presence as well. Those who are willing to buy a naked bike around 150cc to 160cc, try this Yamaha MT-15 and I'm sure you won't regret buying it.

Riding comfort

4.6

Good build quality, Riding comfort all over good for driver, Suspension setup on hard side, Seating height good for5.6 height, Excellent mid and low range torque. Can roll on with 36km/hr speed in 6th gear.Good lighting for night. But not enough for high speed…not razorsharp handling like r15, But quite enough for some serious riders…braking is sufficient but no rear abs easy to maintain very less service cost.Good side…bike with very good and refined engine, Build, Handling, Mileage easily gives 48+with 75-80 km/hr speed.Enough power, Slip n assist clutch for effortless downshifts…bad side…almost zero pillion comfort, Not fit for pillion one, No abs for rear tyre…only front.Night light not great oneconclusion…must go for this bike if you are happy with bad side of bike…a must have product…if you want to have feel of r15 with a comfortable riding posture….
