Yamaha FZ 25: The Balanced Performer

I set my sights on the Yamaha FZ 25. Its promises of balanced performance and affordability had me intrigued. Here is my take after putting it through its paces. The FZ 249cc engine producing 20.8 bhp and 20.1 Nm of torque offers a smooth and enjoyable ride whether in the city or on the highway. Its lightweight (153 kg) design makes it easy to maneuver. The bike design is sleek with an aggressive stance that turns heads. I wished Yamaha had been a bit more generous with the features especially considering the competition in this segment.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Yamaha FZ 25

Riding the Yamaha FZ 25 has been an exhilarating chapter in my life. Its 249cc single cylinder engine delivering 20.8hp and 20Nm of torque has enough grunt to make each ride thrilling. Its aggressive stance and design turn heads while the handling makes carving through traffic a breeze. However it is not without its challenges. The lack of a sixth gear can make highway rides less refined than I would like and the mileage while decent is not going to break any records.

The Affordable Bike

I purchased the Yamaha FZ 25 a year prior for my everyday requirements. It has been a tomfoolery and down-to-earth bicycle. Fueled by a 249cc oil-cooled motor the FZ 25 offers sufficient power for city riding and parkways. the suspension is on the stiffer side however absorbs knocks acceptably. The mileage of around 35 to 40 km is great for a cruiser in this portion. The plate brakes offer great slowing-down execution. the seat is somewhat agreeable. The FZ 25 is a reasonable bike for fledglings searching for a tomfoolery ride. As far as the plan, it looks present-day and engaging, highlighting Yamaha's mark styling. Under the seat, there's a 249cc motor. It's not the most remarkable, yet it's effective for everyday rides and periodic excursions. It is ideally suited for voyaging city roads. Solace-wise, it is intended for both short rides and agreeable. The seat is agreeable, and the riding position is upstanding. In rundown, the Yamaha FZ 25 is a down-to-earth and reasonable bicycle.

Awesome Bike

I own this bike, It has been 7 months. It is the best, No bike in this segment can beat this in the city, It has amazing torque. It runs so silently, And when you pull the throttle, It suddenly roars, and everyone starts looking at you, And goes 0 to 100 in 8.56 seconds. It is very comfortable, I have travelled for 6 hours covering about 250 km, and In which last 21 hours I rode it continuously for 50km. Still didn't get back pain or tired. Everything is amazing about this bike except one thing, Which is a self-start. When the engine is hot after running or due to keeping under the sun, it never starts at one self-start, You will have to do 2 to 3 times. Suppose your bike is running and hot and you turn it off, After 10 minutes you again come back and start it, It won't start because the petrol becomes vapor.

Problems in FZ 25

There are many things missing

4.2

There are many things missing in fz25, Like 6th gear, Weakest headlight. But it's the cheapest 250cc motorcycle in our country.Whenever i hit the highway, I hate that it doesn't have 6th gear.Whenever i ride in night, I hate the weak set of headlight.Whenever i ride with pillion, I hate the soft rear suspension. But, I love it when from bumper to bumper, It slingshots itself ahead of all other vehicles. The power delivery is linear throughout the curve. So you get great throttle responce from standstill as well.

Decent mileage

Pros - This bike is a comfortable upright seating posture and decent mileage of 35-40 kmpl, enough power for city rides and highways, good exhaust sound and low maintenance cost. Cons- Poor quality of plastics used for tail and side panels, R15 V4 has better quality plastics and engine tappet noise issues (a common issue in these bikes).
