Perfect balance
4.7
While going to test drive the Polo. I knew that it was a 10-year-old 'new' car, But I still feel it is a strong contender, Which is often overlooked. To explain further, here are the positives & negatives of the polo TSI. Positive: 1. Safety had scored 4 stars in GNCAP with a good score for structural integrity. 2. Great handling that the polo is a driver's car is a statement beaten to death, but that is a fact. It turns in beautifully and feels chuckable with great confidence. The steering is sharp & direct, adding to the confidence. 3. Great ride its stability and
comfort at high speeds on open roads are quite well known. It feels stiffer on poor roads and bumps at lower speeds but is not uncomfortable. While some may call it stiff, I call it the perfect balance, as the car settles down on such poor road surface and hence is less tiring and doesn't make passengers feel nauseated as a softer wallowing suspension would. 4. The engine is a gem and pulls very strongly and the manual is a great gearbox with decent shift quality. It has a great drive train. 5. Cruise control makes drives less of a hassle. 6. Factory fitted tinted glasses are a boon in our hot country. 7. Good audio and sound insulation for external noise. 8. Timeless exterior and interior and great build quality. 9. Good boot space. Negatives: 1. Rear seat legroom is less as compared to rivals. However a major caveat, I feel the seats are more comfortable with better under-thigh support. So one may actually be more comfortable here than its rival's rear seats. This can be perceived only after long journeys. So the lack of space should not be a concern if everyone in your family is less than or equal to 5'11'' or you are the only one above 6'2. Low ground clearance, especially the lower end of the front bumper. Which can strike ramps and speed breakers. 3. No Isofix mounts for child seats. It's something very important for a family. This is missing for quite a bummer. 4. Volkswagen service is perceived to be expensive and less consistent as compared to rivals. This may only be true for service outside the warranty period. In the end, Polo TSI still trumps its rivals in many areas, which are the very basics of what makes a good car. It may below on features and a sense of space in the rear, but I feel all those will be quickly forgotten once somebody owns an ad that drives this beauty and takes his family for those long drives.

Engine complaints
My car is a 2016 polo TDI 1.5l. Good car with great mileage and ride quality. I am using this car for the past 6
years. 80k+ kms on the odometer. The driving dynamics are great for the segment. If the car is focusing only on front
passengers, it's well, But for the back seat, it is bit tight. The car never got any engine complaints still, But the
spare cost is on the higher side. Even an abs sensor can cost 5.3k including a service charge. After 6 years, there is
no single jerking inside the car, Mostly other car parts on the cabin will make some rattling sound. My TDI
will beast on the highway, Cruise mostly around100-120 kmh. Pros: best control on road, driving pleasure,
stable on high speeds, trustable engine. Cons: back seat space, Abs sensor failures(5 times I changed, 4 covered
on warranty, Last 1 changed after warranty- cost is 5.3k ), Spare cost is more than normal cars. Service cost
is on the higher side. Features are less in the cabin.

A fantastic car in and out right from the classy and strong exterior body design with triple coated paint to the interior body design with dual tone color combination( black and beige), Nice lethered comfortable seats comfortable highly even for long rides special notice goes to the telescopic steering wheel which comes with the height adjustor making the driving experience highly enjoyable for people of any height ratio. The suspension are really good and can take any obstacles(driven carefully) with ace.The engine capacity and power is exceptional and little bit of race it picks up speed very well.Though the downside of the car is that the ground clearance is bit less but due to that the car has an exceptional road grip which at even high speed doesn't let the car faulted or skirt bringing a charm to a high speed ride mentioning the fact it is a family car.

Powerful body
5.0
The car is superb,we are chilled after a cooling of 10 minutes by the A.C, gives a mileage of 19.5 kmpl on highway and around 15 kmpl in city. Leg space, boot space, luggage space everything is GREAT and music system is also very good. The negative point is only that it have only 2 airbags in highline model, but it"s powerful body can bear anything. After sales service of this car is not so appreciable.
